Babycito Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary!

Entrepreneur and CEO (Chief Executive Mom), Lindsay Bermudez, launched babycito almost a year ago when she experienced first-hand, the need for clear answers to her baby’s sleep patterns. While caring for her two-year-old and two-month-old, she found herself searching for local service providers in the middle of the night, without reliable information. Lindsay had bookmarked her old idea of a service registry and decided it was time to put it into motion. Her vision was for parents and caregivers to have a one-stop shop that would make parenthood easier; a place where they could search for local providers and register for services - saving them time and providing peace of mind around providers.

When babycito was still just an idea, Lindsay was lucky enough to share it with her new neighbors (who quickly became her new best friends!), Amy and Erik Frost.  From the get go, Amy and Erik were so supportive and helped Lindsay make significant progress to transform her idea into a business.

Amy’s marketing background was the perfect compliment to Lindsay's lack thereof.  Her loyal friendship and genuine interest in the success of babycito made it easy for Lindsay to ask Amy to be her business partner. Asking her felt like a proposal, and Lindsay is so glad she said yes! 💍😂

Moms themselves, Lindsay and Amy grow and develop babycito while caring for their little ones: Millie, 4, Molly, 4, Ruben, 2, and Emma, 1. Many babycito working hours occur after their bedtimes!  Despite Lindsay and Amy’s exhaustion, they’re confident that sacrificing sleep is worth it to grow babycito, benefit local parents, and strengthen the larger community of Northern Virginia families.
