I’m a nurse specializing in the care of birthing parents and newborns.
I have been a nurse in Women’s and Infants Services for over a decade. I am a mother who has had 2 hospital births. My first birth was traumatic because I didn’t know enough. My second birth had similar interventions, and I experienced no trauma. I felt empowered and an equal part of the medical team. That’s how I want you to feel going into the hospital!
